Airplane Model*Hobby Master HA3883 1:72 USAF F-16C Demo Team “Venom' – Miniature Marvels: Airplane Models & Painted Dice

The F-16 Fighting Falcon was produced by General Dynamics who became Lockheed who then merged with Martin Marietta to become Lockheed Martin. The F-16 entered service in January 1979 as a multi-role jet fighter that evolved into an all-weather multi-role aircraft capable of sustaining 9-g turns. The F-16 is relatively inexpensive to purchase and maintain so the U.S. and 25 other countries added it to their inventory. The Fighting Falcon is referred to by its pilots as the Viper and will remain in USAF service until 2025.

Lockheed F-16C 94-0047 c/n CC-199 was delivered to the 79th FS in April 1997. In 2006 it transferred to the 20th FW/77th FS. In 2019 this aircraft was selected to join the 2020 Air Combat Command’s F-16 Demo Team with work on the special paint scheme beginning in December. In May 2020 the stunning scheme was unveiled and named Venom. Snake scales run along the back, belly and wings as well as up the tail. Snake eyes are on each side of the fuselage.
